XIO2001: current consumption

Part Number: XIO2001

Hi Team,

Quick question from customer,

1) how do we read below power consumption, is it for 1ch operation or in full 6 PCI device connected?

If this is for 1ch only, so means we need to x6 for absolute max current, correct?

2)  There are total 6 rails for this device, we add up each 1.5V and 3.3V rails current and gave a sum for each in spec, correct? Thanks!

  • Hi Andrew,

1). Yes this is for one channel and we need to multiply by 6 for nominal fully X6 PCI master configuration.

2). We need to multiply your table ICC by 6 to get nominal total current consumption. This is because each of these 6 PCI entities have Ser/Des and analog front end.
