SN65DP159: Correct control pin input current?

Part Number: SN65DP159

Hi team,

Can you have a look at the following customer question?

The control pins are specified with max. 30µA (High Level Input current). This would be a pull-up of Min 110kOhm => 3.3V / 30µA
However, you specify 65kOhm in the application example. Which value/specification is correct or in which range may the resistor value lie?

Thank you,

Franz

The pullup/pulldown/floating resistor configuration will set the internal bias to the proper voltage level which will not match the values shown in the table.

    For resistor tolerance

    [3-Level Input pins]
    Pull-up: 65k +/- 10%
    Pull-down: 0 to 65k + 10%

    [2-Level (LVCMOS) Input pins]
    Pull-up: 0 to 65k + 10%
    Pull-down: 0 to 65k + 10%

    Thanks

    David
