USB2ANY：Dac80508EVM: encountered dac80508evm with "usb2any interface not detected".

Part Number: USB2ANY

Dac80508evm follows "dac80508evm user's Guide". The J1 of dac80508evm board is connected with J4 of usb2any board. USB cable connects usb2any board to PC and external 5V power supply to tp6 test point of EV board.  PC software can also be installed normally.

Select SPI for usb2any interface and turn on 3.3V and 5V power supply at the same time. However, when dac80508evm software is running, GUI always displays "demo".

So what's my problem? Can you solve this problem for us? Thank you.

    Hi Wang Yue,

    Please disconnect and the DAC80508EVM from the USB2ANY, and launch the DAC80508EVM software.  If you are successfully able to exit the demo mode, then I suspect that there is some kind of short on the EVM board that is causing the USB2ANY to have an error. 

    Can you install the latest version of the USB2ANY explorer and launch that as well? Does the software ask that you update the firmware when you launch it?

    Hello, Paul

    I tried according to the method you provided. After disconnecting the DAC and starting the EVM software, I still couldn't exit the demo mode and kept popping up the window that the Interface not initialized.

    I am not sure whether I am installing the latest version of usb2any software. My computer is windows 10 (64 bit), but I can't set the usb2any interface at the beginning of installation. After I press the switch S1 on usb2any, the firmware update is displayed and successful, and then I can operate the interface of usb2any.

    My question is, where is it? Is it related to computer configuration? Have 64 bit computers been successful in the past?

    Could it be possible that this USB2ANY is damaged? Can you try it on another computer to confirm?
