Hi,

we plan to use a Dacar 636-2 cable with a M12 x-coded connector over an distance of 10m. The transmitter will be a DS90UH949A.

Is it possible over a distance of 10m?

In addition: The display resolution is 1400x1050@60Hz and Dual OpenLDi is used.

Hello Oliver,

Yes, 10m cable is possible for your configuration, if you can keep the Board Insertion loss as per our recommendations.

The counterpart (transmitter side) has confidential information from Ti and is telling us and the other involved parties, that the cable length is limited to 6.7m because of insertion loss, inter pair shew and intra pair skew.

We are not able to check this, because we do not have this confidential information from Ti. (The mentioned information may be linked to DS90UB949A)
