TUSB2036: Is EEPROM needed when PID and VID are default

Part Number: TUSB2036

I am Koki Tsushima, who is a NCG's FAA.

I think I do not understand those device well, but  my account asked these questions for TUSB2036VFR and  TUSB2046BVFR.

1. When account use VID and PID as default, are these devices will be activated well without EEPROM?

2.What figure for VID and PID when they are default.

I though as following...

1.

When VID and PID are default, EXTMEM(26) is high, and then EEPROM is disabled.

In this situation, pin(5) must be floating (unused), not function as EECLK &

Pin(6) is used GANGED input terminal, not function as EEDATA (EEPROM serial data/ power-management).

Therefore, I think optional EEPROM is not needed if they are used as default.

2.

I do not understand this question, but if it high,I think there are no figures like XXXXXXXX in table 2.

Please tell me any comments.

Koki
