Hi team,

One of our customer projects requires a serialize/deserializer solution

1. Serialize 1080p 2*4 LVDS

2. De-serialize the serialized signal into a 1080p 2*4LVDS or MIPI DSI signal.

Is there a recommended solution? Because I am not familiar with this, please feel free to ask if necessary information is not provided

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Re: "1. Serialize 1080p 2*4 LVDS"

    Assuming that the refresh rate is 60Hz, you can check either "DS90UB947-Q1 - 1080p oLDI Dual FPD-Link III Serializer" or "DS90UH947-Q1 - 1080p oLDI Dual FPD-Link III Serializer with HDCP".

    Re: "2. De-serialize the serialized signal into a 1080p 2*4LVDS or MIPI DSI signal."

    For LVDS output, you check either "DS90UB948-Q1 - 1080p oLDI Dual FPD-Link III Deserializer" or "DS90UH948-Q1 - 1080p oLDI Dual FPD-Link III Deserializer with HDCP". Currently, there is no deserializer with MIPI DSI outputs.

    You can always visit the FPD-Link page on ti.com and use the the "Quick search" tool to find the current available devices for the different input and output compatibility, PCLK rates, and color depths. Here is the link for your reference:
