Hi,

Could you advise what test item and test criteria for “DP83848JSQ/NOPB” testing and validating? Do you have any ideas about test plan of ethernet transceiver DP83848J?

What function you suggest to verify on DP83848JSQ.

Hi!

The two best ways to verify a PHY are to test that the device links up and that data transfer is successful. Optionally, IEEE compliance tests can also be run.

Could you please share a test report or format for reference? And then it’s easier to understand how to verify device links up and data transfer.

Hi,

For link status, please check register 0x1.

For data transfer, please an application running over Ethernet MAC to send and verify the data.

I would like to check if DP/DN of phy nets are able to be swapped in routing? (Polarity Reverse)

Yes, please see this bit in reg 0x10 .

The PHY should automatically detect this.
