TS3USB31: Is the polarity of the inputs and outputs important?

Part Number: TS3USB31

1. I have a PCB layout where I have D+ routed through pins 5 and 6 (these pins are labeled as D- pins on the chip).  And visa versa for D-.  I did this for layout considerations in a tight space.  Is this reversal going to cause an issue with this chip or with signal integrity?

2. In another design, I'm using this chip to interrupt SERIAL data lines, where BOTH signals are positive voltage.  Is this an acceptable use of this chip?
