Do we have 3.3V <-> 16V bi-directional level shifter IC ?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC27517, CD40109B

Hi

Do we have 3.3V <-> 16V bi-directional level shifter IC ?

  • No.

    The CD40109B is a quad-channel, unidirectional, low-to-high or high-to-low level shifter. The UCC27517 can be used as a single-channel, unidirectional, low-to-high shifter. Comparators can be used as unidirectional shifters.

    Why is it necessary for the shifter to be bidirectional?
