PCA9306: 1Mbps operation capability

Hello Support team,

Can the PCA9306 product operate at 1 Mbps with Fast-mode Plus?

The frequency band shown in the data sheet is flat to around 100 MHz below, so I don't think it is a problem.

    Hi Takahashi-san,

    I agree, the PCA9306 device itself should have no trouble operating at these frequencies. However, keep in mind that high data rate I2C systems are quite sensitive to line capacitance. As PCA9306 does not buffer line capacitance, the equivalent line capacitance will include loads on both sides of the translator.
