Hi Kota,
The AM26LS31CNSR part number uses a NIPDAU lead frame material and complies with RoHS limits. See this link for more information and device variants. Note that all remaining TI products that use lead (Pb) are required by customers, such as military and space products or under regulatory exemption. More information on the conversion here.
Let me know if you have any more questions.

Let me ask you another question.
Has the currently used NIPDAU lead frame material been used since JANUARY 1979, when this device was released?
Hi Kota,
TI adhered to the Roh Directive which restricted the use of hazardous materials in electronics manufacturing in 2003. We were already in the process of phasing out the use of these materials in the 90s. The directive to remove these materials from our products was accompanied by specific labeling to allow for tracking of complying devices. If the device in question has a marking "G4" on the package, it complies with the RoH directive.
Keep in mind that if these devices originated from a source that is possibly exempt from this directive (military, space, and medical fields), it is possible that these restrictions did not apply even after the enforcement date.
