Experts,

My 940 register 0x6B set to 0x50(IFMT RGB888 with OFMT YUV422). Screen need YUV422 data format.

In old project, SoC->RGB888 to 947->940->YUV422 to Screen. Screen can be lighted.

In new project, SoC->RGB888 to 941->940->YUV422 to Screen. Screen can NOT be lighted.

Question,

In old project, which part has ability to transfer RGB888 to YUV422? 947 or 940?

How to transfer from RGB888 to YUV422 in new project with 941 to 940?

Hello Ryan,

The conversion of RGB888 to YUV422 in this chain is performed by the 940, not the 941AS, so I don't think this issue has anything to do with the data formats. More likely the issue is with the DSI timing from the SoC not matching the timing from the 947 source which is causing a difference in behavior.
