TPS25750EVM: Error Flashing to Device

Part Number: TPS25750EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS25750,

With the TPS25750 Application Customization Tool, when I flash to TPS25750EVM board from current configuration, it says "An error occurred while flashing to device. Try power cycling EVM and reconnecting hardware before flashing again.".

When I first used the TPS25750EVM board about two days before, the flashing process stuck at 0% for about 5 minutes and I stop trying. Yesterday I did it again without change, it just successfully flashed.

However, another question occurs at today,

I also find at the bottom of Application Customization Tool, there is selection of ports and baud rates, how do I select them?

Ports:

Baud Rates:

could you please help me with it?

Thanks for your support and time!

  • Alex,

The two dialog boxes that you see were added to address the instance where the automatic USB serial port detection routine does not work correctly.

They are only necessary on a very small number of machines.

If you see programming failures again, you may need to select a different serial port and see if it connects on your machine.  You should see some text on the bottom of the screen that says ready to program.  If that text is present, then everything should work well.

You should never have to change the baud rate from the recommended value.
