Would you suggest to add common mode chokes at the eDP output of SN65DSI86? My understanding is that DP has relatively larger tolerance on intra-pair skew and therefore a common mode choke might not be required.

The common mode choke is to suppress the common mode noise with the added benefit of compensating for the inter-pair skew. So they need to see how much noise is on the eDP output and whether they need to use the choke to suppress it.
They can co-lay the choke with 0-ohm resistor and choose to populate/not populate depending on the system testing result.
