Is the TLIN2021 pin compatible with the TLIN2027?

What concerns would there be for substitution?

    Hi Allen,

    The TLIN2027 has a few less features than the TLIN2021A, so if any of these are required, the switch from TLIN2021A to TLIN2027 may be tricky. TLIN2021A offers WAKE input and INH output pins which are not featured in TLIN2027 (pins are NC). The TLIN2027 also does not have a dominant timeout feature. This makes it compatible with K-line systems but may make it less desirable for standard LIN systems. 

    If these features are not needed, there's no issue swapping these devices as all other pins and functions will be the same.
