DS90UB949-Q1EVM: Voltage Supply Rating - In-Vehicle

HI, I have a DS90UB949-Q1 EVAL Board which I need to use in a vehicle demo.

In looking at the eval board, it specifically says 12V +/- 5% for power, so I’ve been running it off a lab bench supply (into J36).  However, from the schematics, it looks like J36 only goes to U9 (TPS54225 Buck) to generate 5V for the board.

The input voltage range for the TPS54255 is 4.5V to 18V.

So, it looks like I should be able to power this eval board from a vehicle battery which is typically 13.5V.  If not, I'll have to power it from a separate 12V battery source.

Can you confirm?
