TS3DV642-Q1: About functional table

Part Number: TS3DV642-Q1

Hi everyone,

I am not sure to understand the functional table on page 14 of the datasheet.

Case 1 is OK

Could you please explain Case 2 & Case 3? What are their purposes?

I guess that Case 4 means that channel A is connected to D0... D3?

I guess that Case 5 means that channel B is connected to D0... D3?

Thank you.

  • Hi,

Case 2 & 3 is for application which only a single differential lane switching is required.

Case 4 & 5 is for application which six differential lanes switching is required (D0, D1, D2, D3, SCL/SDA, HDP/CEC). The SCL/SDA and HPD/CEC is naming only, but they are functional equal to the D0/D1/D2/D3.

    Thanks

    David
