Can you please confirm SN65HVD232QDRQ1 will be used as an alternate for SN65HVD232QDR. We need same pinout and functionality. Is there any major differences ????

The difference is that the Q1 device has undergone additional testing for AEC-Q100 qualification.

As Clemens said, the difference is the qualification the device underwent. The functionality and pinout are identical between Q1 and non-Q1.

Hi Kappala,

Yes, TCAN332 is a valid replacement device for SN65HVD232. The pinout is compatible and basic functionality will be the same. Other devices from the TCAN33x family (TCAN330, TCAN334 and TCAN337) can also be substituted as leaving the additional function pins (5 and 8) disconnected leave these features inactive.

Note that while basic functionality is the same, these are different designs for 3.3V CAN transceivers. Timing and protection specifications differ between devices so performance and reliability will vary depending on which family is used.
