    Hi Sohee,

    It is not necessary needed to have a proper clock such as PCLK or clock from the OLDI in order to transmit or communicate via I2C or GPIO. The DS90UB947 has the internal oscillator, and if there is no external clock, the I2C uses internal clock. You may get the DS90UB947-Q1EVM or DS90UH947-Q1EVM for your testing, but UH is required DCP license.
