SN65DP141: for the By-pass Mode setting

- QUESTION : When changing VOD or EMP, we ask you to check the value of the By-pass Mode setting inquiry/method. 

 

- Status

→  In both Tracer Mode and Cable Mode, the output VOD value does not change even if the input (VOD 400mV ~ 1200mV, -6dB ~ 9dB) is changed. 

→  Changes in VOD and EMP only occur when setting of“SN65DP141” is changed.

    Hi,

    Can you please clarify the question? The VOD only changes the output linear dynamic range, it does not change the signal amplitude as long as the signal amplitude is within the DP141 linear range. 

    To change the signal amplitude, it has to be done on the source side.
