We have a custom design using the TPS54987D. When the PCBA is plugged into a sinking device (i.e sink EVM or phone) the output does not enable and in debug mode it shows that the switch is disabled due to overcurrent. Looking at VBUS there is a series of pulses that go to approximately 0.7-1V before going back to 0. On the 5V PPHV2 line there is a small spike in voltage when this 1V signal is released.
I was wondering if you could point me in the direction of what would cause this fault. It looks like a short on the output but I cannot measure one.
