Hi team,

Now I am supporting customer requirement for GPIO.

it is that

1) External Fsync from DES GPIO_0 to SER GPIO1.

2) Error flag from sensor need to be transfer from SER GPIO2 to DES GPIO1.

but when I refer to example script of 953/954 design guide, I need to set FC_GPIO_EN.

and now, customer requirement shows that SER GPIO2 need to use FC GPIO mode.

but 953/4 design guide says only GPIO_0 is available for 1ea FC GPIO mode.

Could you pls help me to know configuration how can I support my customer??

Hello Harry,

please use the following configs:

On the 953:
0x0E = 0x2D
0x33 = 0x05

On the 954:
0x0F = 0x7D
0x11 = 0x41
0x4C = 0x01
0x6E = 0xA8

your script doesn't work for FC GPIO when error flag from SER GPIO_2 to DES GPIO_1

if I set 0x33 to 0x07 of SER, it works.

but I am not sure if this setting is correct.

Could you pls comment for this??

Hello Harry,

this is strange why 0x33 = 0x05 is not working! Nevertheless, you can use also 0x07.

Hi Hamzeh,

I understood that I only can use GPIO_0 if FC GPIO EN value is 2b'01 from below guide.

if this is correct, I should config this value to 2b'11 because GPIO2 is used for FC GPIO to send sensor erorr to DES.

but I concern if this FC GPIO EN setting conflict with External Framsync requirement because external Fsync may use BCC.

Could you pls help me clear about this??

Hello Harry,

as I said, you can write reg 0x33 = 0x07. You do not need to worry about conflicts. This should be okay.
