Hi Team,

We are evaluating USB-PD-CHG-EVM-01.

And, we would like to know the input of data of TPS25750 Application Customization Tool method.

We have two questions.

[Q1]

We understand that there is not Tiva chip on USB-PD-CHG-EVM-01 so we can’t use “Flash To Device From Current Configuration Option” of tool.

Is my understanding correct?

[Q2]

We would like to know the method of input of “Generate Full Flash Binary” by Aardvark.

We can generate “fullFlash.bin” file but don't know how to use this file.

So, we don’t know action of No.4 of the following process.

Could you please let us know a recommended method?

[Process]

1.Supply to 5V to BATT pin (Power on).

2.Connect PC and EVM by Aardvark.

3.Use “Generate Full Flash Binary” of tool and generate “fullFlash.bin” file.

4.???

Your description of the flow is correct.

The next step after you have save the fullFhash.bin is to use the totalPhase flash-center gui tool to program the flash on your board. They have excellent instructions and good user support for any questions that you may have.

Hi Chuck-san,

Currently, I use Flash-Center.

However, I can’t set target device because found USB-PD-CHG-EVM-01 in the target device list.

Could you please let us know the setting method or XML file of USB-PD-CHG-EVM-01 if you have any information?

The device that you need to enter into flash center is CAT24C256W. This is the EEPROM that is populated on this design.

I found CAT24C256 and CAT24WC256.

The suffix on the EEPROM is the package type. On offers the EEPROM in many different formats that are all compatible with the TPS25750D.
