From Mr. Navor, As mentioned before regarding the output voltage for am26lv31, the VOH(max) is 3.3V and this device is not able to output a voltage larger than VCC. The Vod needs to be > 2V with 100Ohm load per the RS-422 standard
For am26lv31, the Voh/Vol spec ((2.5V-0.5V)/20mA) is equivalent to 2V Vod over 100Ohm (RS-422 standard).
my last question is can i input a +5V into input 1A-4A of the am26lv31esdrep, the ti data states from what i understand Vi input max is 6V.
