Hi Team,

I have a question about the I2C access of this device. I am not able to find the slave address in the datasheet of this device, nor do I see the slave address in the example codes provided in the datasheet.

Take the code above for example. It starts with the register address without specifying the slave address. Is there not a slave address for this device? Or did I understand the I2C access of this device wrongly?

The provided code is about configuring a CSI-2 Forwarding mode on the DES. So, what slave are you talking about?

Hi Hamzeh,

I was just trying to understand if from a processor perspective, when I want to read from/write to the UB960, what's the slave address I need to use?

The example code was just a random pick and has nothing to do with my question.

Hello Roy,

If your processor is communicating with the DES locally, then the I2C device ID in reg 0x00 will be used for communicating. There is no slave address required!
