DP83TC811S-Q1: 811S total time needs to link up

HI Team,

My customer has below 2 questions could you pls help:

1. We test and found that from PHY link down to link up it'll need to take several seconds to settle as link up, any potential reasons?

2. How long it needs to take for the PHY to load all the configuration from power up?

    Hi Ted,

    I have a few questions/comments:

    1. How are you measuring the link up time? We would expect a link up time of 100ms or less.
    2. If you are starting the time measurement from when the PHY is powered on, then that will not work. The PHY is not operational immediately from power up. Once everything is configured, then the PHY will be operational and be able to link up.
    3. The moment the clock is present, all voltages are present, and the EN signal is high, then the PHY will take approximately 60ms to be operational.
