TLIN1021-Q1: Searching TI solution

Part Number: TLIN1021-Q1

Hi Bro,

TLIN1021-Q1 VS ATA663201

There is a good news that we have a chance to replace "TLIN1021-Q1"

What are the differences between these two?

  • Hi Kygo,

The ATA663201 doesn't look like a LIN transceiver. It's just a voltage regulator with no LIN bus pin. If they are looking to add the LIN functionality to a voltage regulator the TLIN1021 would not be a good fit. It doesn't have an LDO output. The TLIN1028 does have an LDO output but the pins don't match up exactly.

If they just want to upgrade this chip into a LIN transceiver the TLIN1021 would match the pinout of the ATA device but it doesn't have the voltage regulator functionality.

    Best,

    Chris
