Hi,

When the TUSB9260 is connected to a USB 2.0 port, should pins 42,43,45,46 be left unconnected ?

Could it work without SPI ? If so, what are the consequences and what should pins 17,18,20,21 be connected to ?

We recommend that new designs use the TUSB9261.

If you want to use the TUSB926x as a USB2.0 only device, then you can leave the SS connections disconnected.

The SPI flash is required because the firmware is stored in the SPI flash. If you do not have a SPI flash the TUSB926x will not function at all.

TUSB9261 will release to production this month.
