Also wanted to confirm with you, I am about to finalize our PCB design and release our prototype to manufacturer.

We have decided to incorporate the Wurth Isolated Transformer solution for SPE, watched the TI & Wurth Webinar it was great!

Are you able to confirm our connection below? (We will be testing both non-isolated and isolated versions on our prototype.)

My questions are:

1. Wurth say to maintain 25mm between Xformer and PHY, i can achieve 18mm, worth mentioning our PHY is using an 50Mhz oscillator clock not crystal, will this distance be okay?

2. I have connected the Tx/Rx to Xformer as shown in schematic below, is this correct connection?

3. Are the additional components for impedance matching that come after the 49.9R and 2K resistor hybrid circuit required for the transformer solution?

Did you get a chance to look over the schematic/run past the team.

We are looking to release PCB tomorrow sorry for the push, main point we need confirmation on is the connection of transformer to Tx/RX and whether we need to consider any other components in the hybrid for optional impedance matching?
