TCA9617A: STAR connection PU resistors

Hello,

I am trying to connect START CONNECTION of i2C - 4 No. of slaves through TCA 9617A.  Datasheet helps with PU resistor values when 3 Slaves are connected as shown below

Can you help me find the resistor PU values for 4 slaves on 1 I2C master bus ?

 IM_ST_OUTB_MCU_I2C_Page_REV0P103.pdf

Will be keeping the trace shorter for VCCA side desi chain connection of I2C.

Resistor options on Slave side are 3 paded to avoid any Discontinuity. 

Can you please help review my design ?

    Hi Atharva,

    I saw that you posted another post about the star connection with the TCA9617: 

    This diagram is different than the one you posted from the datasheet. The diagram in the datasheet is multiple TCA9617's in parrallel. 

    Either way both set ups work but finding your pull up resistor will be different based on which design you choose. First I recommend you read this paper on how to choose your pull up resistors.

    For now tell me which design you actually are going with, multiple TCA9617's or just 1 TCA9617? This will change is your bus capacitance.
