Hi team,
My customer is looking for 2:1 SPDT MUX for eMMC HS400, so I'd like to suggest TS3DV642. Does it works fine? If not, please give me appropriate part for this application.

Kazuto

Hi,
My understanding is that the eMMC is a 8 bit data bus plus clock, command and reset signal. Which signals does the customer want to route through the TS3DV642? I don't think the TS3DV642 has enough I/O to support this.
Thanks
David
Hi David,
My customer needs the MUX which has at least 11ch &1G, so I suggested SN74CBTLV16292GR at first. However TS3DV642 seems to have cheaper price and better performance.
"eMMC" is not listed in the datasheet but "General Purpose High-Speed Signal Switching" may be applicable, what do you think?

Do you know what is the targeted data rate, differential signal amplitude peak to peak, and the common mode voltage for the eMCC?
Thanks
David
Hi David,
Please see the document below, I see Signal level = 1.8V, CLK Freq up to 200MHz, Data rate is up to 400MB/s. (see page.12).

Looking at the spec, I don't see an issue with using the TS3DV642 for this application.
Thanks
