TUSB3410: Seek for alternative materials or alternative solutions

Hi team,

My customer is looking for alternative materials or alternative solutions for CP2105-F01-GMR which is a single-chip USB to Dual UART Bridge.

I just started learning this part of the product, so I only found TUSB3410 which is a USB port to an enhanced UART serial port, could you please help me to find a more closer device or alternatives solution to CP2105-F01-GMR.

The TUSB3410 is the only USB/UART bridge offered by TI. The next best alternative would be to program a microcontroller like the MSP430F5508 with the desired functionality.

Thanks, I got it.

I will communicate the MSP solution with the customer but I think it will be difficult, and at the same time I would like to ask, CP2105-F01-GMR have dual UART output, that means if we use TUSB3410 to take over CP2105, we need 2*TUSB3410, if customer really need dual UART output.

We have other methods that can be combined with TUSB3410 to produce dual UART output?

Because customer want to find a solution to take over CP2105.

HI Andy,

Customer can consider using a USB 2 Hub like TUSB4020BI to achieve two UART Ports from a single USB.
