Can the ds90ub953a-Q1 serializer supports 8MP 30-fps imagers?

    Hi Eric, 

    This will depend on the number of bits used in the video format. 

    Due to channel rate limitations, the 953A will not support any of the datatypes that use greater than 10bpp. RAW10 & RAW8 is possible.

    For instance, RAW10 (with estimated 25% blanking/coding overhead) has a required rate of 3.1104Gbps while 953A has a maximum payload rate of 3.328 Gbps.

    It should be checked/verified based on the specific pixel/line blanking and CSI-2 protocol overheads since its close to the maximum payload.
