Does this part support forcing Hi-Z Rx impedance on an individual channel basis via SMBus? This is required for our intended application to gate the receiver detect process for unused lanes.
From the Programming Guide, the behavior of the mr_rx_det_man bit in RX_DET_CTRL1 isn't defined in detail, but it seems most likely that it overrides the RX_DET pin (and would thus not provide the desired functionality, per table 7-2 in the datasheet).
