TUSB215: or TUSB213: CDP/SDP compatibility

Hi,

My customer is using TPS2544 and TUSB217, they are looking to qualify TUSB213 and TUSB215 as alternatives.

The TUSB is placed after the TPS2544 and the TPS2544 has a CDP/SDP feature. Are the TUSB21x devices agnostic to this feature? Could the TUSB213/5 be used as alternatives to the TUSB217?

    TUSB213 is agnostic to this feature but TUSB215 is not. TUSB215 has its own CDP controller which may not work for this application, there is no disable pin. TUSB213 does not have the same redriving performance as TUSB217, some tuning may be required to get the best performance when using TUSB213.
