Part Number: TLIN1028-Q1

Hi Team,

There is a good new that we have a chance to DIN   LIN transceiver !

Could you share comparison table between TLIN1028-Q1  vs  TJA1028  ? Or let me know the difference between the two

  • Kygo,

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to share the link online. Can you email me at c-ayoub@ti.com and I can send you the table?

    • When it comes to operational differences, the TJA1028 uses an push pull output on the RXD pin, and the TLIN1028 uses an open drain output.
    • The driver of the TJA1028 is turned on until the EN pin is high and the TXD pin is pulled high. The TLIN driver is immediately turned on when the EN pin is high.
    • There is also a difference in the pull up resistance of the nRST pin. The TJA device uses 3 - 12K resistors in parrallel. The TLIN device uses a 250K resistor.
      • This shouldn't cause any issue

    Best,

    Chris
