XIO2001: CLKOUT question

Part Number: XIO2001

Hi team,

I'd like to know the condition the CLKOUT[6:0] keeps providing the clock.

Is there any setting to stop the CLKOUT other than clock control register and clock mask register?

Can PERST, GRST, and other register setting stop providing the clock output?

The operational conditions are listed below

・After powering on, the power supply and REFCLK is stable

PCI clock is 33MHz (PCLK66_SEL=1M66EN=0)

CLKRUN_EN=pull-down(disable)

clock control register is default

Best regards,

Itoh

  • Hi Itoh-San,

    On default all output clocks are enabled. Through register control offset 0xD8 we can disable individual clock but it seems you are asking for a pin to to control these output clocks. I believe you can disable CLKOUT by asserting PERST or GRST or if CLKRUN is enabled.
