DP83867CR: Seek for two suitable devices for Phy

Hi team,

My customer has the following two needs regarding Phy:

First device needs: 1. It needs to be able to support the rate of 25G, support the optical port, support 1588v2 syncE, there is no restriction on the port, preferably a single port;

Second device needs: 2. It needs to be able to support a rate of 10G (support photoelectric adaptive, if not supported, first support optical ports), support 1588v2, no restrictions on ports.

Please help me on this two case.

We do not have any ethernet PHY solutions that could support your customer requirement.

Thanks for your reply, but I see our devices like DP83867CR and DP83867CS which can support 1588 protocol.

Can you please help me to confirm again, and whether other product lines may have suitable products?

Hello Andy,

The DP83867 device provide SOF support for1588 and do not implement the 1588 protocol.

We have the DP83640 which is 101/000 implementing 1588 hardware time stamping.

I am not familiar with other PL roadmap products. You might want to check with the relevant PL>
