Hi team,

Could you advise how long does it take from LOCK = High to Serializer ID to be loaded to UB934 SER_ID (0x5B) register?

I would like to design a wait time to read the register after checking LOCK status.

Hello Shinji,

normally they do not need to add any extra delay. What they need to do is to make sure LOCK is stable. Once LOCK is stable for at least 10ms, they can communicate with remote device without extra delays.

Hi Hamzeh,

SER_ID register is UB934 local register, so I asked the timing when SER_ID is loaded automatically at start up from the serializer to UB934.

Is SER_ID loaded to UB934 and ready to read out from UB934 local register once LOCK pin is High without delay?

Yes, when LOCK is high and stable you can read the SER_ID register.
