For a 940 application that supports multiple resolutions in which some resolutions are supported natively by the 940's ability to auto-determined the D-PHY timing based on the video input and other resolutions that require custom D-PHY settings.
Assume the serializer follows the correct startup sequence when the new resolution starts transmitting and the 940 does not go through a complete reset, I was wondering if there are any additional steps that need to be considered when changing the D-PHY settings from the custom settings to automatic mode?
For example, the current resolution is 720x576 with custom D-PHY settings and the new resolution is 640x480 and we want to use the auto-determined D-PHY settings, do we only have to clear BIT 7 in the D-PHY registers?
