Hi Team,
The DS90CF384A supports many display resolutions but I do not see QVGA listed, which is one of our customer's requirements. Do we have a part that will do the same thing LVDS -> RGB888 for QVGA?
Thanks in advance!
Kind Regards,
Jejomar

Hi Jejomar,
I am unfamiliar with QVGA, what resolution are you trying to use? is it 160 by 120 pixels or about 1.1 MHz PCLK? if so then we do not have a device that will support that low of a PCLK.

Hi James,
320x 240 Pixels at 60 FPS means a PCLK of ~4.6 MHz PCLK this is lower than any of our devices support. Can the blanking of the panel be large enough to increase the PCLK to over 8 MHz?

Michael W.
The display in question has a maximum input clock of 7Mhz. Is 8MHz the minimum clock rate of this device? I do not see a blanking spec in the datasheet.
The DS90CF384A's minimum PCLK is 20 MHz. The lowest PCLK that any of our devices can support is 8 MHz.

OK, thank you for your quick response. Perhaps my design will not be able to support a new LVDS display and the existing RGB888 display in the product. Thanks again.
