Memory card reader has stopped working properly.

To whom it may concern,

I get the following message on my computer's "Solve PC Issues":

"Address a problem with your memory card reader

Your memory card reader has stopped working properly because a compatible driver isn't available for this version of Windows.

The model name of your memory card reader is Texas Instruments PCI7620/7420 Dedicated SD/MS/MSPRO Sockets."

I currently use Microsoft Windows 7 on my Sony Vaio VGN-FS640. Thank you for any information you can provide me.

Aaron,

Our license agreements with the PC OEMs (Sony in this case) does not allow us to distribute drivers directly to end-consumers. You will need to work with Sony on resolving this issue.

How di you fix that problem . I can't seem to find the driver or software for my card reader and Sony in NO HELP AT ALL. Please let me know how you fixed yours. Thank you for your time and help.

Same thing here. I updated from windows vista to windows 7 and kaboom my card reader stopped working. Would you give me some help on the topic. my lap is a VGN-CR260F VAIO.
