Part Number: TCAN1044V-Q1
Customer would like to use TCAN1044V-Q1 for their MCU with 5V. Should they directly connect VIO to VCC? And they used 100nF+10uF for VCC now, should they also use the same 2 caps for Vio?

Clemens,
Thank you. Is bypass capacitor like 10uF required for Vio, in addition to 100nf?
Thanks Clemens!
Hi Aki,
No, there does not need to be a unique 10µF capacitor for Vio if one is already present for Vcc. The bulk capacitance supplied by this capacitor is mainly needed for the relative large and dynamic current draw from the Vcc pin. Only the 100nF capacitors are required for each supply pin as Clemens described.
