Customer check only TRDP short to GND and only TRDM short to GND.

Both two situation will have this problem

One of TRD shorted to supply will make reset happen.

An idea is whether adding ESD protection into TRD will help?  I don't found some ESD protection design guide of 811, only have CML.

Could you also kindly help to provide some ESD protection material for us if have? Thanks!

To be sure that I understand the topic corrrectly please confirm that following is true :

1. There is a customer test to short TRDP and TRDM with ground.

2. During above test, customer is seeing that 3.3V supply is droping down.

3. Customer wants to avoid this drop.

Related questions :

1. Is the short to ground done after power-up of PHY or before?

2. Is the short to ground done during data communication?

3. Is the short to ground done manually by wire or is there a circuit to do that?
