Suggested part is fine, but price is very expensive compare to ST3485EIDT. If it possible could you please suggest any other cost effective part with similar feature?

We have some older devices, like the SN65HVD70, that are pin-to-pin compatible and supplied with 3.3V. However, with our older devices, they have slower data rates, and different ESD protection levels. What are the customer requirements for ESD and data rate?

Suggested SN65HVD70 is not pin-pin compatible.
Kindly suggest the cost effective part; 3.3 V powered, 15 kV ESD protected, up to 12 Mbps, Half Duplex, in SO-8 or SOIC-8 Package.

The THVD1400 family of the devices I previously mentioned are the only devices in our portfolio that match those needs. The THVD1449, THVD1420, and THVD1426 would all work along with what I suggested in my first reply, but my assumption is those are close to the same cost.
