You can use these app notes as a reference for transformerless ethernet operation. Note that AC capacitors are needed on the MDI lines between two PHYs.

Hi Amy,

Can you read registers 0x0, 0x1, 0x10, and 0x11 and tell me the values? Please also update me on if the AC caps help.

Based on the schematic, it looks like the Microchip PHY is looking to link up with multiple link partners at the same time (PC and TI PHY). Is this something that is supported by the Microchip PHY? Or am I misunderstanding and the Microchip PHY only links up with one partner at a time?
