In the datasheet, Function of ID pin is given as Open drain output; asserted low when the CC pins detect device attachment when port is a source (DFP), or dual-role (DRP) acting as source (DFP).
USB C connector is used in our design. PORT pin of TUSB320 is given as NO connect. Therefore device is in DRP mode. As per our understanding, when a power is connected to the USB C connector, ID pins will be asserted low. When we connect OTG device to the USB connector, TUSB320 will not detect VBUS and therefore ID pin will be in high state. Kindly check and confirm whether our assumption is correct or not?
Schematics design of TUSB320 IC is attached. In the attached schematics ID pin is connected to 5V via a 200k resistor. Kindly review this schematics and please check and confirm, the exact low level and high level voltage range of the ID pin.
