DS90UB927Q-Q1: DS90UB927Q-Q1

Part Number: DS90UB927Q-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS90UB926Q-Q1

Q1:Is there a recommended Deserializer that can convert the output of the DS90UB927Q-Q1 into a BT656 or HDMI signal?

Q2:DS90UB927Q-Q1 whether or notcompatible deserializer of UB902/UB926?

Q3:When DS90UB927Q-Q1 is connected to DS90UB926Q-Q1, can DS90UB926Q-Q1 output BT656 or only RGB888?

  • Hi,

    • We do not have a serializer that has output compatibility with HDMI.
    • DS90UB927Q-Q1 is compatible with UB926.
    • I am not familiar with any TI solutions to convert to BT656. This thread might be of some assistance.

  • HI,Ben Dattilo

I still need your help with some questions

Q1:DS90UB927Q-Q1 whether or notcompatible deserializer of UB902?

Q2:In fact, I want UB927 to be used together with UB934, because UB934 supports BT601, but my colleague has tried, I can't understand why UB927 can't be used together with UB934?

    Q3:If UB927 and UB940 work together, how do I configure UB940 to output BT601

    Best Regards,

    Wu Junming

  • Hello,

    • DS90UB927Q-Q1 is not compatible UB902
    • UB927 and UB934 are not compatible as the UB934 is a device that is used with camera data, whereas the UB927 is used with video input (i.e. data from a graphics processor)
    • UB927 and UB940 are compatible. To configure the output of the 940, see section 7.4.4 of the DS90UB940N-Q1 datasheet
