TUSB1002: Question TUSB1002

Hi Kosugi-san,

Correct to accommodate TUSB1002A the PCA pattern would need to change. Please use TUSB1002A instead of TUSB1002.

Just in case, let me confirm below.

What is difference TUSB1002 and TUSB1002A ?

and TUSB1002A  looks difficult to get  for us immediately on market.(Lead time looks about 52weeks=1 year)

We looks TUSB1002 can buy from Digi key.(Digi key stocks at TUSB1002  : about 500pcs)

    TUSB1002A fixed some buges in TUSB1002, so it's better to use TUSB1002A.

This is KOSUGI from Tokyo JAPAN.

TUSB1002A looks 2 capacitors need at RX2N and RX2P line.

TUSB522p looks no need them. 

There are very big impact for our PCBA ray out and patterns.

Does TUSB1002A need to add 2 capacitors at RX2N and RX2P both lines ?

My designed PCB can't enter loopback mode via TUSB1002A VCO and DC Gain settings below.

TUSB1002A setting : # 10

I would like to enter loopback mode via TUSB1002A on my designed PCB.

Do you have any setting or ideas ? please let me know.

Hi Kosugi,

Have you performed TX testing and tuned TUSB1002A to get a passing result? First check your setup for the proper connections, calibration file is up to date using the cables currently in your setup and ensure that the USB host is in its loopback mode. (TUSB1002A does not have a internal loopback mode).

-> it looks my designed circuit passed Tx testing by setting #10 (DC Gain : +2dB , Vod : 1200mV). 

So, I will conform whether Host(CPU side) enters loopback mode or not later.

I will inform to you above result later.

Hi Kosugi-san,

If you continue to have issues getting host into loopback. I recommend recalibrating the RXJOTL setup to eliminate any issues there.

It looks Host(CPU) on my PCB board doesn't enter loopback mode. it means we need to confirm for Host(CPU)' vender.
