DS160PR410: Does part power up in a default mode that will allow SI testing without configuration code?

We have 8 DS160PR410s on the board.  They are configured in I2C mode with attached flash rom.  The question is, does the DS160PR410 require code for configuration to enable so we can do SI testing thru the part.  Do the DS160PR410 power up in default mode with out config code?
